  • Hello Jo!

I received the PDF Package and it's absolutely fantastic! I was amazed at all of the information that was provided. It was exactly what I was looking for after I decided to do my own fresh floral arrangements.

I've already done several silk arrangements in the past, but I was determined to have fresh floral at the wedding...and do it myself after I got my first floral quote for $4,000. Yes, that's right $4K!!! I was shocked! Who has money like that!!?

Anyways, I love the package and was so grateful to have stumbled upon your site while searching for fresh floral suppliers. I'm sure I will have many questions...my wedding is July 14th. I think right now, my only question is: who are reputable online suppliers that I could use and when should I order my flowers? Thank you for such a wonderful kit...I will be telling many brides about your helpful site.

    Thank you again!

    Melody

  • Jo,

Your site was such a huge help for me. It was an all in one shop/stop for every question I had about wanting to do this myself. I'm a very crafty person...my poor fiancé knows this...as I have a closet in my home dedicated to nothing but crafts..."The Craft Closet"...or as some would delicately put it, "The Crap Closet". :)

When you're on such a tight wedding budget like we are...$5,000 for the whole kit and kaboodle...you have to get creative, inventive and resourceful. People don't realize how much you pay for convenience and they also don't realize that you can do these things on your own. It's so simple! It's not rocket science...it's just a different approach that requires a little more time and research, but can and will be done.

Imagine the money we've saved already! Weddings today go for $15 to $25K...and I live in the Heartland! Imagine what it's like in New York or California. We've done alot of our wedding purchasing from online...you can't just settle for your local store with a markup of 40%.

I think that what you and your husband are doing is absolutely fantastic. It's already been a huge, huge help for us. I appreciate how quickly you are to respond. Thank you so much already for helping me with those questions...and the 10% discount for the wholesale flowers! Could I possibly ask for anything better!? :)

I will definitely be in touch with you as I begin to decide on my flowers. All the best of luck with your business and website. You're doing a fantastic job! Thanks again so very much!

  • Hi Jo!

I have attached a picture of the flowers that I absolutely LOVE. Colors and all. I wrote to the florist that made this bouquet to see what flowers they are and this is what she wrote.....

I am not a flower expert at all, but it seems like there are some missing. Regardless, I would like to create a bouquet very similar to this, but possibly with some less expensive flowers. Can you please recommend some specific flowers and greenery that can give me a similar look and colors?

Thanks so much for your help! Once we can figure out which flowers, I will really appreciate your help with how many to order. Your service is a life saver!

  • Jo,

This is SO helpful! Thank you so much!

If I where to go with the flowers listed below, what flowers would you recommend for the corsages and Boutonnieres? I have to make 6 corsages and 11 boutonnieres, so I want them to look good, but not be too complicated.

Also, I am trying to find a wholesaler on line where I can purchase these flowers at wholesale prices. There seem to be quite a few. Have you found one that people have been particularly happy with?

    Thanks!

    Amy

  • Jo,

Very helpful once again! Thanks! I am learning a lot! :)

  • Jo,

I'll most probably be chatting with you LOTS!! Both the wedding and reception will be at a local hotel.

I'm tasked with converting a "blank canvas" ballroom into a soft, romantic atmosphere. My daughter would like to see more floral than greenery so I've got my work cut out for me. Can't wait to dig into your material.

I'm thinking bicolor roses as the primary flowers. Do you have a recommended grower?
